Chairman's Update:
Creekside Veterans, in lieu of a monthly meeting on 16 April lets all rendezvous for a Warrior Wednesday lunch at Mission BBQ. Circle the date, Wednesday, 16 April at 11:30. It would be so cool to fill two rows of tables with CVC purple polo shirts plus our spouses (that would be a Kodak Moment). We have some catching-up to do, many sea stories yet to be told and with some good ol Irish luck I'm hoping members who have been on the Disabled List will be well enough to join us, too.
*****Need RSVPs, for an accurate headcount to Mission BBQ.
Second item...this is a Warning Order from our Events Coordinator John Hoffman (Army JAG)...The "Judge" has been busy and is listening to your feedback. SAVE the Date...on Wednesday, 21 May the Creekside Veterans Club members and our spouses have been invited to tour the home of General George C Marshall, located in Leesburg. After our Marshall House tour we will adjourn to 3 Creeks Winery for some follow on cheer and friendly banter. Both venues are opening their doors just for us...we'll have the places to ourselves! John learned the 3 Creeks Winery owner is a West Point graduate making for a spirited military service connection. More details to follow on this event, but we need you to SAVE the DATE Wednesday 21 May at 1 PM. Standby for the call for RSVPs.
That's it for now...hope to see everyone at Mission BBQ on Wednesday, 16 April at 11:30...need your RSVP (spouses, too).
-Brian-
Please be careful not to "reply all" to emails unless it is necessary for everyone to know your response. Thank you.
Thank you to all who responded to John's survey on club outings.
Members Helping Members: Everyone can use a helping hand now and then and that includes tough military veterans. To facilitate CVC member's ability to help each other, we have created space on this website where club members can request assistance from CVC (for themselves or others). The request will only be seen by Brian Schires who will ensure the request is acted on.
Google Workspace: Google Workspace is the official CVC business and communication platform. If you haven't registered, you will not be able to access some club information. Contact Jeff or Brian for details, questions or to activate your account (jeffh or brians @creeksideveterans.club).
Monthly Meeting: 19 March @ 1600 hours.
Volunteers Needed! In 2025 there will be several opportunities to volunteer and we will need the support of every CVC member. Please consider volunteering for one or more of our efforts.

Just in time for the busy travel season
On 12 November, CVC made an impressive donation of much needed food and drink items to the Dulles USO in advance of Thanksgiving and Christmas travel periods.
Many thanks to Hardi for leading this important effort.
